Webgistix CEO And Henderson Resident Graduates From Harvard Business School

BOSTON — March 31, 2011 — Henderson, Nevada resident Joseph DiSorbo graduated from the Owner/President Management Program (OPM) at Harvard Business School on March 26, 2011. 

Established more than 40 years ago, OPM is a rigorous, Executive Education program held over a 3-year period for executives with at least 10 years of management experience and who hold a major equity stake in their company. 

Participants represent a diverse range of organizations from around the world and hold dual roles as owner and CEO or COO of firms with annual sales ranging from five million to several hundred million dollars. Joseph DiSorbo is the President and CEO of Webgistix Corporation, a leading provider of outsourced e-commerce order fulfillment. 

Taught by Harvard Business School’s faculty, the Program focuses on the frameworks, technology, and strategic tools essential for success in today’s challenging and global business environment. 

A successful entrepreneur and business executive with more than 15 years of experience in senior management, Joseph founded Webgistix in 2001 in Palo Alto, CA to help Internet businesses manage their supply chains more efficiently and strategically. Webgistix’s innovative cloud-based services and network of fulfillment centers automate and accelerate order fulfillment. Today, Webgistix has hundreds of customers in dozens of countries on five continents. Webgistix is on track for continued rapid growth. 

Prior to starting Webgistix, Joseph founded StudentPlanet.com, a Palo Alto-based Internet company focused on the higher-education market, which he sold in 2000. Joseph has started several companies in and out of the technology space. 

Previously, Joseph was vice president of finance and operations for Cutco Korea. Based in Seoul, Korea, Joseph oversaw sales offices, facilities, warehouse operations, and IT across 23 branch offices throughout Korea. In addition, he launched Cutco’s operations in the Philippines. While at CUTCO, Joseph also held roles in international business development and engineering.
